“Our friendship is very deep,”
Cook says. “We understand each
other. We know what being on the
other side of ‘misery’ is like. But on
this side, we have people supporting
us and cheering us on.”
Gaining together
Since their weight-loss surgeries –
Cook and Cipriani’s were in 2012,
Lipp’s in 2013 – the three friends
have lost a combined total of more
than 350 pounds.
